This recipe is a perfect combination for you prawn lovers out there! A simple salt and tumeric after taste to every crunchy bite on the succulent prawns is enough to satisfy your seafood cravings. Simple to cook and great for health. Perfect as a side dish to compliment plain rice. What’s more, you can also choose to grill the seasoned prawns over a barbeque pit for the perfect smoked tumeric prawns too!
Pan Fried Tumeric Jumbo Prawns
Ingredients:
1. 1/2 - 1kg of Red Jumbo Prawns. (I usually use 1/2kg)
2. Salt
3. Tumeric Powder.
Instructions:
1. Make sure to deshell the prawns and clean away the guts!
2. Strain them dry.
3. Season them with 1/2 tbs salt and 1 tbs Tumeric powder and 2tbs oil. Mix and marinate them well.
4. Heat the a pan (preferably non-stick) with high fire. No oil needed.
5. Add in the prawns and make sure to fry both sides till golden brown with a tinge of orange. (Cooked prawn colour)
6. And you’re done!
