Stir Fry Pork with Sweet Beans and Black Beans


Ingredients:

1. 500g of Minced pork meats.

2. 2 packets of Sweet Beans. (Peel both ends of each Sweet Pea)

3. 1 packet of Salted Black Beans.

4. 2 tbs Water.

5. 2 tbs Light Soy Sauce.

6. 2 tbs Dark Soy Sauce.

7. 2 tsp Sugar.

8. 2 tsp Corn Starch (+ 1 tbs Water) to make corn starch solution.

9. 1 tbs Oil.

10. 3 tsp Minced Garlic.

1. Wash the Sweet Beans. Prepare some boiling water. Add the Sweet Beans into the boiling water for around 1-2 mins.

2. After that, pour away the boiling water and soak the Sweet Beans in cold water to let them cool. You may also rinse them with cold running water. Then strain and put aside.

Tip: By doing this you allow the Sweet Beans to retain an incredible crunch!

3. Rinse the salted black beans in water and let them soak for a few minutes to lessen the saltiness. For me I like to use the strainer while soaking so it’s easier.

4. Then strain and put aside.

5. Season the minced pork meats with 2 tbs of water, 2 tbs of light soy sauce. Mix well.

6. Heat up the oil, and start browning the minced garlic.

7. Add in the minced pork. Be sure to stir fry them until they are broken up and change in colour.

8. Add in the salted black beans and mix well.

9. Season with 2 tsp of sugar and 2 tbs of dark soy sauce. Mix well.

10. Add in the Sweet Beans and mix well.

11. Add in the corn starch solution to thicken up the sauce.
