This recipe is a very simple dish to that blends onions and the natural sweetness with pork meats, with amazing gravy to compliment with rice!
Stir Fry Pork with Onions
Ingredients:
1. 5-8kg of lean pork meat. About 2 medium sized slabs.
2. 1 Large Onion
3. 1 & 1/2 tbs Sugar
4. 2 tbs Shaoxing wine (rice wine)
5. 3 tbs Light Soy Sauce.
6. 1 tbs Dark Soy Sauce.
7. 1 tbs Corn or Potato starch.
Instructions:
1. Wash and pat the meat dry, and cut them into halves.
2. Tenderise the meat and cut them into 1/2 cm slices.

Cut the onion into 1/4 chunks and then slice them.

Take a bowl and being combining 1 & 1/2 tbs Sugar, 3 tbs light soy sauce, 2 tbs Shaoxing Wine, 3 tbs water into a mixture. This will be the seasoning.
5. Mix 1 tbs corn or potato starch with 1 tbs of water into a mixture..
6. Season the meats with 1 tbs dark soy sauce and mix well.
7. Heat up 2tbs of oil.
8. Add in the onion slices and stir fry until they soften. Ensure that they do not brown.
9. Add in the meat pieces and mix well while stir frying. They should turn white.
10. Cover up for around 3-5 mins with high fire.
11. Then, uncover and stir. Add the seasoning mixture you prepared earlier and mix well.
12. Then add in your corn or potato starch mixture to thicken the sauce. Mix well. Then, also season to taste to your liking.
