Nothing beats a nice well seasoned and cooked salmon. This recipe is simple to cook and a wonderful delight to eat. Fragrant aroma and succulent juicy soft meat, the grilled salmon is a perfect meal to go with any western palate you have, giving you the healthy fatty acids with every bite!

Grilled Salmon Fillet


Ingredients:

1. 1 or 2 slice(s) of salmon fillet. (Supermarket packed)

2. Minced Garlic.

3. Mixed Herbs. (Small bottled ones from supermarket)

4. Fine salt.

Was the salmon fillet(s) and pad dry. Then, while feeling the bones in the meat, gently use a pair of bone tweezers to pull the small bones out.

If you love the salmon skin, then you may skip this step. Otherwise, carefully use a knife to slice the skin off the meat.

3. Season the meat with fine salt all over to taste. Finally add minced garlic and mixed herbs on top of the meat. You may wish to let the meat marinate for a few mins before cooking.

4. Now use a pan (preferably non-stick) and place the salmon fillets onto it. You do not need to add any oil as the salmon is full of rich fats on its own!

Tip: If you have the skin on, simply start cooking the salmon fillets skin side down first. You want it to be crispy!

5. Grill the salmon with medium fire for around 3 minutes on each side. When flipping over, be gentle. The meat will get very soft and tender.

6. And then it is ready to serve!
