Fried Pork Chops

Ingredients:

1. 1 inch thick 6 pieces of soft lean pork chop meats. (Or more if you have more hungry people)

2. Dark soy sauce.

3. Light soy sauce.

4. Corn or Potato starch.

5. Cooking wine or Sherry.

6. White Vinegar.

7. 2 fresh garlic cloves.

8. 1 egg yolk. (Separate the white from the yolk)

1. Wash and cut off the extra fats from the pork chop meats.

2. Pad them dry

3. Then tenderize the slices with a tenderizer.

3. Now place the meats into a container and season them with 2tbs light soy sauce, 1tbs dark soy sauce, 1-2tbs of cooking wine or sherry, 2tsp of salt, 2tsp of sugar, 1tsp of white vinegar, 2 fresh chopped garlic cloves, and 1 egg yolk. Mix well.

4. Let the meat marinate for 2-3 hrs till ready to fry.

Once you are ready to fry, add 2tbs corn or potato starch into the meats and mix.

6. Using a pan (preferably non-stick), add 1tbs of oil and heat it with medium fire. Then add in the pork chops and fry each side for 4mins.

Tip: The meat will usually absorb the oil so you might want to keep refilling 1tbs oil every now and then depending on how many slices you have left.

7. The pork chops are then ready to serve!
