This dish is a kid’s favourite. A perfect blend of chewy and meaty chicken with the saltiness of the cheese, these patties are very tasty and moist. You can eat them by themselves, or even serve them as burgers and sandwiches between buns and breads! The rich flavours are more than enough to compliment plain rice, or even Nasi Lemak!

Cheesy Chicken Patties


Ingredients:

1. 3-4 large chicken breast meats.

2. 2 eggs, preferably bigger sized ones you can find.

3. 1/3 Cup of corn or potato starch for gluten.

4. 1 and 1/3 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese.

5. 1 and 1/2 stalks of spring onions, chopped.

6. Salt.

7. Black Pepper.


Instructions:

Put all the ingredients into a pot or container.

Season with the eggs, corn or potato starch, shredded mozzarella, spring onions, 1 tsp salt and a dash of black pepper. Mix well.

2. Using a flat plate with an egg ring utensil, make the patties. You may lightly brush some oil onto the patties as you make them one by one before sliding them onto the pan.

4. Heat up a pan. (Preferably non-stick). Add a little oil. Slowly slide the patties onto the pan and cook them as you prepare more. Be sure to give each side around 3 mins of cooking time before flipping.

5. And you’re done!
