This recipe is a delightful balance of juicy succulent pork meat, with crunchy vegetables giving you a wholesome flavourful burst of saltiness and sweetness. Wonderful as a dish to eat with any meal. What’s more, it’s perfect when eaten as a hamburger between buns or bread slices!

Juicy Pork Patties


Ingredients:

1. 1kg of minced pork meat. Do try to get the tender parts, such as loins or fake fillets.

2. 2 - 3 fresh mushrooms, chopped finely.

3. 4 pieces of watercress nuts, chopped finely.

4. 3 inch long carrot, chopped finely.

5. 1 medium onion, chopped finely.

6. Light Soy Sauce

7. Dark Soy Sauce

8. Sesame Oil

9. Sugar and Salt

10. 1 egg.


Instructions:

Put all the ingredients into a pot or container.

Season with 2 tsp sugar, 2 tbs light soy sauce, 2 tbs dark soy sauce, 2 tsp salt, 1 egg and 2 tbs sesame oil. Mix well.

3. Using a flat plate with an egg ring utensil, make the patties. You may lightly brush some oil onto the patties as you make them one by one before sliding them onto the pan.

4. Heat up a pan. (Preferably non-stick). Add a little oil. Slowly slide the patties onto the pan and cook them as you prepare more. Be sure to give each side around 3 mins of cooking time before flipping.

5. And you’re done!
